Hi,

 

I'm Katlyn Hamaker. I am 25 years old and I am currently a working single mother in central Texas.

 

I am a beginner model. I didnt have to chance when I was a teen to become a model. It has always been my dream. Body image and self acceptance is something that like many I struggled with as a teen, and still struggle with today. 

 

Throughout my life I have been lucky enough to be surrounded by people who have given me some great advice which has encouraged me to better myself, both inside and out. 

 

I started dancing at 15 and continued right up until I was 17. Dancing  is a passion of mine. It takes me away from this world and into a new beautiful world. Trying to get back into the dancing scene is a major goal of mine. 

 

I am very sporty and active. I have played sand volleyball, tennis, softball, soccer and football through out schools.

 

My child is a very important person in my life. I was given the great opportunity to be his mother at the age of 17. It was very challenging, but I managed to graduate high school in 2009, I went on to recieve my Associates for Paralegal Studies. I am currently in the process of going back to school to get my Masters in pshycology and then get my Doctorate in pshycology as well. As a survivor of child abuse and domestic abuse, I have felt that it's my duty to help other over come this as well. I want to bring awareness to these types of abuse and make sure women and children know that it's ok to come forward and that it is possible to be a survivor.
